In case you can't tell, this is Kenshin. The main giveaway is the scar and the eyes. The kanji on the top reads "Hitokiri no Me" and it means "Eyes of an Assassin". This is my attempt at a dramatic drawing and I think that I pulled it off pretty well. For those who know the story, I was trying to show the true Battousai nature of Kenshin under the docile, friendly exterior that he has adopted in the Meiji Era. The main showing of this theme is the sword. If you can tell, the blade is on the correct side (sorry, pencil-shading comes out horribly on a scan - if you can't tell by that, then look at the glimmer). As you all know Kenshin fights with a Sakabatou, or reversed-blade sword, but the real sword shows how he really is a hitokiri, an assassin, no matter how much he tries to hide it.
